AGREEMENT CONDITIONS

The following conditions establish the rules by wich  
Bed and Breakfast "LA CORTE" accepts reservations for renting of the rooms.



1. Prices
The offered prices are inclusive of Italian breakfast, taxes and services if not otherwise stated.

2. Reservations
Reservation is validated upon payment of a deposit through postal order, wire transfer or credit card, and upon reception of a fax showing the receipt of payment, within the established date. Failure to provide the above results in the cancellation of the booking.

3. Payment Methods
Payment will have to be made in full and by cash upon arrival at the B&B unless agreed otherwise.

4. Cancellation effects
In case of cancellation on part of the guest penalties will be as follow:

Cancellations: made up to 3 days before the expected arrival will not involve any charge.
Cancellations: if made up to 1 day before the expected arrival date, the price of one night will be charged on your CREDIT CARD.
Late cancellations or no-shows or cancellations with less than 1 day notice will result in the whole amount being charged.

5. ATTENTION:
Check-in limits
Not being a Hotel with a night porter and in order to grant peace to our Guests
The time limit for check-in has been established within 9 pm.
After this time access to the B&B will not be guaranteed: telephones and entry phone might be turned off.

6. Unforseen circumstances
If, for causes independent from the will of Bed and Breakfast "LA CORTE", the reserved accomodation should not be usable, B&B La Corte will reserve the possibility of assigning another accomodation with the same characteristics as the one that was chosen.

7. Gas and electricity expenses
The costs of water, gas and electricity for domestic use (including heating and air conditioning) are included in the price, unless otherwise specified at the moment of reservation.

8. Pets
Pets are NOT accepted

9. Liability of the client or his/her guests.
In case the client or his/her guests should damage the premises or its contents in any way, the client will be hold responsible for such damage. The relative expenses will be charged to the client upon departure or kept from the deposit.

10. Jurisdiction
In case of any controversy regarding bookings and rentals, only Italian law will be applicable and only the Court of Ferrara will be competent. Subscription of booking implies the knowledge of the General Conditions. If of the conditions on this agreement were or should become non valid or if within this agreement a gap should occur, the validity of all other conditions cannot be called into question.

11. Personal data handling
Complying with the rules stated by L.675/96 on personal data protection and handling, handling of data is carried out in obedience of the rules of confidentiality and safety stated by the law.







Pre-booking briefing
Conditions For Guests in Our Structure

Simply respect towards others.....


1 – Annoying noises and/or any sort of disturbance of the peace a quietness will ABSOLUTELY not be admitted or tolerated and will result in ousting from the structure: we expect maximum respect of this rule from our guests! Total silence must be observed from 10 pm until 8 am and from 2 pm until 4 pm. In any case it is necessary to adopt a behaviour that will never, during any part of the day, and in no possible manner damage someone else’s peacefulness. Do not stop for talking in the hall or in the common staircases nor at the entrance of the b&b.



2 - RESERVATIONS : all bookings will have to be confirmed by payment of a 25% advance deposit on the total amount: payment can be made by: CREDIT CARD – WIRE TRANSFER – PAYPAL – POSTAL ORDER.
The Client will have to consider the time necessary for WIRE TRANSFER AND POSTAL ORDER to be credited. For rules on CANCELLATIONS please see point 12 of this pre-booking briefing.
Upon arrival each guest has to submit a valid document of identity for registration, according to the current law dispositions. Under no circumstance we will accept guests without a valid document of identity. The balance of the reservation must be paid upon arrival at the B&B and nothing will be refunded in case of early departure of the Client.


3 -CHECK-IN : The room must be occupied between 1 pm and 9 pm.


4 -CHECK-OUT: The room must be left within 10.30 am of the day of departure.

Any other timing must be agreed in advance. It is possible, in any case, to leave your luggage for the rest of the day in a closed room but without any responsibility on part of management.



5 – In all common areas inside the building and in the rooms smoking is forbidden. It is recommended to leave all the spaces clean and tidy. It is strictly prohibited to bring and consume drugs inside the premises: each guest will be personally responsible in case of any check or control by the competent Authorities.


6 – Breakfast will be served at the time agreed the previous day, in any case within 10 am. It is not permitted to consume lunches or dinners inside the rooms: the breakfast rooms/tables are available to guests for this purpose. It is strictly forbidden, for security reasons, to cook, light up fires or use any other cooking means inside the rooms: upon request to be submitted to the Ownership before booking, the Client may eventually use the kitchen/cooking area dedicated to breakfasts. .


7 – Inside the Bed & Breakfast , exclusively for hygienic reasons and in respect of any eventual allergies on the part of other customers, animals are Not admitted.


8 – It is possible to return to the B&B at any time of the night but paying MAXIMUM respect to point n°1.


9 – Children must be supervised by their parents, paying MAXIMUM respect to point n°1.


10 - Visitors: People who have not been registered at their arrival, cannot have access to the structure, not even for temporary visits, infringement will result in a report to the competent Authorities. The arrival of visiting people, although temporary, must necessarily be signalled to the ownership that will register the presence of the visitors within the premises.

No guest can permit the access of unregistered people to the common areas of the B&B, to the courtyard, solarium, garden and/or the rooms, etc..: all common areas are under video surveillance.
Any guest ignoring this directive, will respond of his/her actions to the Authorities.



11 – The kitchen : Room occupants may utilize these features of the common space:
· - expresso coffee machine,
· - electric kettle,
· - picking drinks and/or snacks from the fridge.
· - fruit squeezer
· - fresh fruit basket
· - tastings and appetizers
· - home made savouries

Do not use the kitchen, domestic appliances and other equipment without permission;



12 - Cancellations: communicated up to 3 days before the expected arrival will not involve any charge.
Cancellations: if communicated up to 1 day before the expected arrival date, the price of one night will be charged on your CREDIT CARD.
Late cancellations or no-shows or cancellations with less than 1 day notice will result in the whole amount being charged.



13 – Additional Beds: additional beds are available only upon request and upon confirmation by the B&B. Supplementary costs will be calculated and paid separately at the B&B.



14 - B&B keys: In order to gain access to the premises, each guest will receive:

- 1 key for the pedestrian gate
- 1 remote control for the automatic gate, to access the external parking space.
- 1 key to the main door of the B&B.
- 1 key to access the assigned room.

Be careful to always bring with you the key to your room;

ATTENTION
- The loss or damage of the keys will result in a charge of 15.00 euros.
- The loss or damage of the remote control will result in a charge of 35.00 euros.
- Any charges will be paid at the moment of the aknowledgement of the damage and/or upon departure.




15 – Do not walk around the bed and breakfast “wearing” clothes that might offend other people’s sense of decency.



16- The guest will be careful to turn the lights, air conditioning and other equipment off in the room during his/her absence.
Energy consumption is included in the price of the rooms, but if we should detect air conditioners, lights, PCs, etc... turned on while the guest is not in the room, You will be charged 5.00 euros for each day of violation of the present rule.



17 – Guests Liabilities:
- Each guest of our structure will be responsible for the contents of the room assigned to him/her, of the common areas and of the equipment granted for free use.
- Each guest of our structure will be responsible for any access violation to the premises on part of non authorized people.
- Each room will be checked before every departure and any damages, unsignalled breakings, thefts, etc... will be immediately charged to the occupant Guest.
- Each Guest of our structure will be responsible for his/her behaviour and that of any children, companions, spouse, room guests.
In case of forced ousting from our structure, because of disturbances to the peace, damages or any other negative behaviour, no refund will be recognized to the departing Guest.



18 - N.B. We decline all responsibility for loss, theft or damaging occurred to your personal objects left unguarded in the rooms and/or in the parking space.
